Cut out bits of paper, fragments of hand drawn memories are some of the elements that make up Luke Jethro Best’s approach to image making.

Each project is approached with a specific treatment, employing his diverse vocabulary of drawing, collage and printmaking. By consciously avoiding a specific or fixed way of working Luke’s output takes on a diverse range of formats including video and animation, self-published books, textiles and homemade spacesuits.

Since graduating from the RCA Luke has worked as an individual, in a directing partnership as Rosco and Best and as a member of the influential London based Peepshow Collective.
