Gary Hume
Gary Hume was part of a celebrated group that studied at London’s Goldsmith College in the late 1980’s. His work was first seen in the near-legendary 1988 exhibition ‘Freeze’ organized by fellow pupil Damien Hirst and Hume quickly became a sought after young artist. Since then his imagery has developed and he has come to be seen as one of the leading artists within a new generation of painters. He won the Jerwood Painting prize in 1997, represented Britain at the 1999 Venice Biennale and in 2001 was elected a member of the Royal Academy of Arts. In January 2012 he had an exhibition of new paintings and sculptureat the White Cube gallery in London.

I have signed prints available from the 2006 “Here’s Flowers” portfolio of linocuts, which were produced in a small (68 sets) edition by the Paragon Press. Each print measures 80.7 x 61.5 cm and is available framed to the artist’s specification. Hume is recognized as being a talented print maker; these images are fine examples, the almost whimsical flower imagery is subverted by the unrealistic but delectable colours.

Prints priced at £1,900 framed.
